This product marks the 60th anniversary of the iconic Unikko pattern, complete with a special anniversary stamp on the bottom.

First created by Maija Isola in 1964, Unikko has become a global symbol of bold print design. Originally, Marimekko's founder, Armi Ratia, avoided floral patterns, believing that the true beauty of flowers couldn’t be captured in print. In response, Isola designed Unikko as an abstract representation of a flower, rather than a realistic one. Today, Unikko stands as a vibrant symbol of joy and creativity, deeply woven into Marimekko's design legacy
