Building on Aino-Maija Metsola's enchanting tales from the forest, the Kurre (squirrel) pattern brings to life a lively group of squirrels busy collecting and hiding nuts — a familiar sight from the designer's childhood yard. The original artwork was crafted on paper using brush and ink.
