The Vesi Unikko cushion cover is made from soft wool with a jacquard knit, finished with fringed edges for a touch of texture. The reversible design cleverly swaps the pattern’s colours on the back, offering two striking looks in one piece. This cushion celebrates the 60th anniversary of Marimekko’s iconic Unikko poppy pattern, originally designed by Maija Isola in 1964. At a time when floral prints were rare in the brand’s collections, Isola’s bold vision introduced a playful, organic motif that has since become a timeless symbol of creativity and joyful design.
