Inspired by Aino-Maija Metsola's forest tales, the Kurre (squirrel) pattern captures a playful scene of squirrels busily gathering and hiding nuts — a familiar sight from the designer’s childhood yard. The original artwork was hand-painted on paper with brush and ink.
