The Ukkospilvi Serving tray from Marimekko looks particularly artistic with its brush strokes. The tray is made of laminated birch plywood. The back of the tray has a natural plywood colour.

Ukkospilvi was designed by Fujiwo Ishimoto with loose brush strokes to form a geometric grid rhythm. The pattern represents a coming change in the weather. Ishimoto is a master of many styles and techniques and has created countless successful designs for the Finnish manufacturer Marimekko over the course of many decades.
