Maija Metsola originally painted the Ilves (bobcat) pattern onto paper with brush and ink. This design highlights two young bobcats frolicking in the dusk, perhaps they are almost full-grown siblings. With their spots and tufted ears, these inhabitants of the northern forests are truly captivating creatures.
