Marimekko Unikko 60th Anniversary Tray

This tray celebrates the 60th anniversary of the iconic Unikko pattern and features a special anniversary stamp on the base. Originally created in 1964 by Maija Isola, Unikko has grown into an international symbol of print design and a joyful emblem of creativity. At a time when floral patterns were absent from Marimekko collections, founder Armi Ratia believed that real flowers could not be authentically captured in print. Maija Isola responded by designing Unikko as an artistic abstraction rather than a lifelike depiction, and in doing so, created a timeless design that remains deeply woven into Marimekko’s identity.
