About This Piece
Erja Hirvi’s Kukasta Kukkaan print has the wonderfully loose feel of flowers sketched straight from the garden. Created while Hirvi was painting at her summer retreat, the pattern takes its name from the Finnish for “from flower to flower”, inspired by bumblebees making their way between the blooms. On the tea towel, those free-flowing florals bring plenty of colour and character to the everyday kitchen.
