This special plate celebrates 60 years of the iconic Unikko pattern and features a debossed Marimekko logo on the base, arriving in a stylish Unikko 60th anniversary box. Originally created by Maija Isola in 1964, Unikko broke new ground at Marimekko, turning the idea of floral prints on its head when founder Armi Ratia felt real flowers couldn’t be captured in print. Isola’s bold abstraction transformed blooms into joyful, graphic motifs, and today Unikko remains a vibrant symbol of creativity and happiness, a beloved cornerstone of Marimekko’s design legacy.
